For those that find the JW player too complicated and who don’t want to have to work around the limitations of the Flashskins players, I decided to fork out 25 bucks for the Vertical Moon application - Juke It.

I’ve never been impressed by the skins available but, the one above and the iTunes style, are reasonable enough for website use.

The background of the above player can be changed to that of your page background and the colors of the buttons can be customized.

The song title, artist’s name and album title can be displayed.

All the necessary controls are there including a mute button and volume control. The display shows track length and elapsed time.

The iTunes style players have little or no customizing possibilities but the other one shown on this page does allow an image to be displayed for each track.

Click the Juke It icon to the right to find out more and download the application. The trial version has “DEMO” stamped over it and the word “demo” is announced at the beginning of each track. There appears to be no limitation on the number of tracks in the demo.

These are explained here -  http://www.iwebformusicians.com/DistributeandPromote/CopyrightPublishing.html

The institutions who protect and manage these copyrights have big bucks to sue offenders.

You have been warned!
