To verify your site using an HTML file, login to your Google Account
Click HERE to read the Disclosure of Material Content in compliance with the FTC Guidelines effective December 31, 2009

Click the "Add Site" button, enter your domain name and click "Continue.
Select "Verification Method: Upload an HTML File" to get the window shown in Figure [C]

[1] Click the "this HTML verification file" link in [C] above to get the file shown in figure [D] on your desktop.
[2] Upload this file to the root folder of mywebsite.com.
[3] Click the confirmation link
