Verifying Your Website And Your Sitemap
Take control with your DASHBOARD
Here’s what a Dashboard looks like. I’ve entered a URL and will then click the “Add Site” button.
Then I’m being asked to verify and am choosing the option “Upload an HTML file”.
Google will find the HTML verification file I uploaded. It will then find my sitemap and crawl my website. After a while, I will enter my search information into a Google search box in my browser to see if I can find myself!
