YouTube MP4 Jukebox Audio Player

Main Navigation:

Using a YouTube Video Jukebox to play audio.

Unless you own the copyrights on a musical composition, you need to obtain a license to play it on your website.

These are explained here -  http://www.iwebformusicians.com/DistributeandPromote/CopyrightPublishing.html

The institutions who protect and manage these copyrights have big bucks to sue offenders. You have been warned!

Here's the result of a wild idea I had for using the YouTube jukebox style movie player for audio rather than video.

Here's the method:

Create a folder of your edited tracks in AIF or WAV format.

Import them to iTunes as AAC and create a playlist.

Create a folder of images for each track.

Import them into iPhoto and create an Album.

Create a slideshow and drag an image into it from the Album.

Select the appropriate track from the iTunes playlist in the media browser.

Export this "movie" as MP4 and then repeat this process with all your remaining songs.

Open a new account with YouTube and upload the "Movies" in the reverse order in which you want them to play.

Go to the Custom Player page, enter your player info, choose your theme and layout, add the tracks from "My

Videos" and then generate the code to paste into an HTML Snippet on your webpage.

YouTube Audio Jukebox to play MP4 music on your website.

This player should work in all browsers and on portable devices using iOs such as the iPhone and iPad.

For those of you who want more detail, there is a step by step tutorial in the iWeb for Musicians Tutorial EBook. Click the icon to the right for more info.............
