Since I first published this website I have received a lot of support, suggestions and encouragement from Cédric, the author of the iWeb FAQ site, Old Toad, the top contributor to the iWeb user forum, Derek Sivers the founder of CD Baby and, most of all, those of you who have taken the trouble to offer suggestions and comments.

I appreciate those who have emailed me with their problems with implementing some of the suggestions here - especially the music players. These are the single most important item in a musician’s website and, if my explanation sucks or is incomprehensible, I’m depending on you to let me know.

I’m trying to put together Tutorial Downloads for those aspects of website building that require more in depth explanation. Please email your suggestions to iWebforMusicians@gmail.com

Website Building for Musicians

Are you a musician?  Do you own a Mac?  Do you want your music heard all over this planet?

If you can answer “yes” to all the above then this website is for you!

iWeb for Musicians came about from my involvement in the Apple iWeb Forum.

A lot of the questions posted by those wanting to play music on their website were not easy to answer in a forum topic.

There are a lot of tutorials about various aspects of iWeb but none of them are specifically about music.

The website is divided into sections for each subject and these are listed in the main navigation menu on every page. Each section has a sub menu to navigate the section.

Because this site is quite big and is divided into sections, I have included a Map of the Site for easy reference and navigation on the next page.

Each page of the site has a button to get to the MAP if you get lost.

You can also use the Google Search Box to enter keywords if you want.
